Really?!

I just received notification that this illustration was selected for the 2008 Communication Arts Illustration Annual! To say that I’m excited would be a bit of an understatement.

The most prestigious competition for creativity in illustration, the annual Communication Arts Illustration Competition. Selected by a nationally representative jury of distinguished designers, art directors and illustrators, the winning entries will be published in the 2008 Illustration Annual. Over 70,000 copies of the Illustration Annual will be distributed worldwide, assuring important exposure to the creators of this outstanding work.

How I managed to sneak in there is beyond me. Talk about a fantastic surprise to end the week! Look for the annual to hit your local Barnes & Noble in July.
