Celadon
Just wrapped up a new identity and website for Celadon โ an in-the-know, vintage-modern-rustic-chic (I just made that up) home furnishings & accessories store in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, right over the bridge from downtown Charleston. They’ve been around since 1994 and have quite a following, so chances are good most of you Charlestonians are familiar (if not lounging on a Celadon purchase as we speak), but if you’re not, and the words “rooms to go” make you cringe, pay this place a visit.
Celadon seeks to bring the Charleston market an innovative, eclectic, fresh take on home furnishings. Quality, solid-wood furniture built with clean, simplistic, European lines are the bones, while unique found objects from buying trips around the world give this locally owned store a global point of view and bohemian flair that feels anything but contrived. Rustic wood and natural fibers meet an industrial space, antiques from India meet Provincial inspired pieces, and a neutral pallet meets bold textiles and accessories. Celadon is masculine but feminine, current but timeless, chic but comfortable, sophisticated but inviting.
