Local web programming super-duo Mike and Lyn Huffman, better known as Dwarf Dog Chuck, stay true to their tagline: “We build great websites.” As a matter of fact, they put together the one you’re looking at right now. The business is named after Mike and Lyn’s corgi, Charlie, and in the end we thought it only fitting that their logomark take its direction from the same place.
With little more than an empty room and a handful of wallpaper samples, Shine called looking for an identity. Their logomark reflects the chic vibe of Charleston’s newest hot spot and takes its direction from the array of vintage chandeliers scattered across the restaurant’s ceiling, while additional work, including menus, advertising, and promotional materials, incorporates the elegant mishmash of contrasting shapes, textures, and patterns which combine to form Shine’s unique atmosphere.

In 2001 the United Nations General Assembly unanimously adopted a resolution establishing an annual day of global ceasefire and non-violence, dubbed the UN International Day of Peace and fixed in the global calendar on September 21st each year.
